Omano Edigheji
Research manager

A political economist by training, his research interests are broadly in the area of International Political Economy, with a focus on Globalisation and the State in developing countries, and on issues of governance, democratisation, civil society and development in Africa in the context of globalisation, as well as state-society relations in developing countries. He is also interested in South African political economy, including Black Economic Empowerment.
He is on the editorial board of the journal, 'Globalizations. Omano is also an External Associate, Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation (CSGR), University of Warwick, United Kingdom. He is a regular commentor on South African radio, television and newspapers.

Ebrahim Fakir Senior.researcher

Interested in social and political theory, democracy and governance, political parties and democratic institutions, public partcipation, social movements and social activism, post-colonial democratic transitions and democratic consolidation, ideology, the public space, media, culture and politics. ebrahim@cps.org.za

Francis Kornegay Senior.researcher

Political analyst whose interest ranges widely from South African foreign policy and Africa's international relations to global geopolitics.  Having  served as congressional staffer with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, he is also well versed as an observer of American politics and foreign policy.  A frequent contributor of articles of interest to South African newspapers, he also provides occasional commentary on radio and television. Widely published, his most recent monograph is 'Pax-Afroasiatic? Revisiting Bandung in a Changing World Order'.  His key areas of focus in developing CPS' foreign affairs policy research agenda include:  consolidating the African agenda, promoting multilateralism and global governance, strengthening South-South collaboration and promoting North-South bridge-building in advancing South Afirca's national interests.  francis@cps.org.za
